These rubies are round cut stones. Each purchase is for one stone. These are more opaqish/cloudy rubies (basically cabochon grade), hence the lower price.
For sale are rubies that originate from the northern regions of Pakistan (Hunza Valley). These rubies have a lighter pinkish red hue to them (characteristically different from the rubies that originate from Burma (present day Myanmar) which have a deeper, blood red hue to them). These stones originate from the ruby mines of the northern territories of Pakistan which are home to some of the finest rubies in the world.
